Tango Belt is worn like an everyday belt. If you or a loved one falls, here is what happens:
Detects a fall in progress
Advanced 3-D motion sensors and built-in algorithms recognize when a patient is falling. They are calibrated so that only serious falls trigger airbag deployment.
Deploys the airbag
In less than 90 milliseconds, the airbag deploys around the hips to reduce the impact forces that could otherwise result in major hip injury.
Proven to reduce major hip injury
Clinically proven 91% relative risk reduction in major hip injuries due to falls. Tango Belt helps lower the risk of hip fracture and hip dislocation when a fall happens. It does not treat the underlying bone loss condition, stop a fall or eliminate risk of injury.

Tango Belt is available by prescription, so the first step for you or a loved one is a conversation with a doctor. Tango Belt is appropriate for patients diagnosed to be at risk of falling and with a bone fragility condition that could turn the next fall into a major hip injury.
Tango Belt can notify the family members or caregivers you choose in two ways:
Automatically after a fall. When Tango Belt senses a fall, it sends a notification to the selected contacts.
With the call button. The wearer can press the call button at any time to request assistance.
Both features work through the Companion Mobile App and require a WiFi connection. Notifications are separate from the system’s treatment function and do not impact use.
Tango Belt is an FDA-authorized prescription medical device clinically-proven to reduce major hip injury due to falls. For older adults with a diagnosed bone loss condition or prior fragility fracture and a documented history of falls that puts them at high risk of major hip injury. (DEN240021).
