Advanced 3-D motion sensors allow Tango Belt’s built-in algorithms to recognize a serious hip-impacting fall in progress. These algorithms are specifically calibrated such that only serious hip-impacting fall motions trigger airbag deployment.
When deployment is initiated, a bilateral airbag is deployed in less than 90 milliseconds to attenuate the impact forces that could otherwise result in major hip injury.
When configured through the Companion Mobile Application, the Tango Belt automatically sends notifications to patient-specified caregivers when a fall is detected, or via the patient-triggered “call button” when attention is needed.
When the Tango Belt is connected to WiFi, or an available Connectivity Device (“hotspot”), the Tango Belt’s Companion Mobile Application (“mobile app”) allows uses access to valuable features including software updates, patient dashboards, adjusting optional settings, and notification functionality - allowing notifications to be sent to patient-specified caregivers when a fall is detected, or via the patient-triggered “call button” when attention is needed.
